Maritime Museum - Amsterdam

Our first trip was to the Maritime Museum in Amsterdam. I'd been wanting to go for literally YEARS! This was my first trip there that it was actually open after renovation. If you have kids (heck, even if you don't) it's a must go! The museum is lots of hands on for the youngsters and pretty cool for the adults as well. Our first visit was to the "Tale of the whale" section...

Kaitlyn got a whales eye view while Arianna went straight for the heart...

They both had a fun time playing in the end...

Then it was time for some undersea adventures...

after all the play it was onto the Ship... The Amsterdam

And of course the girls decided they were the captains of the ship and decided to storm Amsterdam Harbor...

After all that work of course they were tired and decided to look around a little a found beds just their size!

We all had a ball playing around!  And we only got to a few parts of the museum before the girls were tuckered out. We'll have to go again one of these years!
