I see a hummingbird. Yep, just those four little words can bring the whole house to a stands still! Everyone freezes to try and see it. We've had several in the last few days and today the girls decided they wanted to look at some pictures of hummingbirds. Did you realize how diverse coloring can be on these birds? Some are absolutely beautiful. The Marvelous Spatuletail from Peru is a beautiful bird. Here's a great list of hummingbirds that are a "must see" aparently. The girls had a wonderful time looking at all the pictures of different hummingbirds and learning where some of them come from. Looks like we have another project for school next year!
