Back to school sales!

Hopefully they'll start soon! We are hoping maybe next week, so we can start getting stocked up for this year. The school books should be here in the next 3 weeks or so and the girls are starting to do some more reading and math to refresh their memories and get back into gear a little. Next week we'll start with about an hour a day of school and work up to their daily schedule (about 4 to 5 hours for this year apparently, although Arianna can do the Kindergarten schedule and only has to have about 2.5 per day). Kaitlyn gets to do the 1 - 3 grade schedule and put in the 4.5 per day. I've gone through our calendar for the school year and put in the holidays, etc for "no school" days and put in our "student contact days" which is basically field trip days with the online school to meet up with your teacher. I'm sure if last year was any indication we will have plenty of other field trips for the kids as well!
The girls are wanting to go to the zoo this summer, so maybe early August will work out well for us. We talked about doing it in September, but then the zoo train won't be running and while we don't always do the train thing it has been a long time since the girls rode on it and they'd like to do it again.
The neighbor hood kids are starting a "club" and apparently my girls are the "leaders". They want to do all kinds of adventures so we will have to see how it goes. It will be interesting to see what all the kids think would be fun to do.
