A Spaceship and a trip to the sun...

The first thing you need for a trip to the sun, is a good spaceship. So we made our own! Well, kinda. We decorated our own anyway! First we got it out of the box and started coloring...

Then colored some more...

Than when that was (mostly) done, it was time to put it together...

And play in it for awhile...

And then it was "blast off" to the sun. the first part of our "solar system" unit study..

The Sun was added to our solar system black board. Then it was some educational video's about the sun! I LOVE Discovery education! You tube and Science A-Z are great resources as well! Next up the first planet!
