Ice, Salt, water and gems...

Well not altogether. Except for water, ice and salt..

we started with a milk jug full of water, froze it to make ice and then cut it out of the container...

 Then we colored a few different containers of water to see what that would do to the ice...

 Then we added salt to the water to see if that would make any difference...

and well...then they just had fun playing with everything. Did you know a block of colored ice makes a great kick ball?

Then its on to finding gems...

and after washing them up...

the girls had a ball finding everything  and even invited a neighbor girl over to explore with them. I've also learned something new...I learned I have no talent in the Origami department. Their origami kit they got in the mail yesterday is a bit of a challenge, but we are slowly getting them all done. I'll post pics later.
