Lessons on money...

Earlier this year as I was planting some flowers, Arianna (my 6 yo) asked about the number on her dollar bill she received from the tooth fairy, we had a big discussion about money, how it's made, bank robbers, serial numbers, the federal reserve, secret service, etc. and she was so interested we ordered a free packet..which we just got in the mail! I haven't watched the dvd's yet, but it looks interesting. I have heard the dvd's are a little dry but the rest of the packet seems to be interesting! The kids love the packets of shredded money as well It's designed for older kids (9 -12th grade), but looks easily adaptable for the younger set as well. It has some nice visuals and some fill in the blank, multiple choice and short answer and crossword puzzle in the kit as well.
