Shhhh! Don't tell Daddy!!

We picked up the very LAST of the chicks today and Daddy doesn't know it. We are trying to see how long it takes him to notice we have more chicks than we did yesterday! We picked up two Buff Orpingtons and a black Jersey Giant.

In the top picture if you look at the chick in the background you can see the "bare neck" of Isabella, Kaitlyn's "Showgirl".
Today we also got registered for our first 4H show. The girls are really looking forward to it! We also had swim lessons and both girls did really well! Almost time to sign them up for the next sessions! Arianna woke up today around 4 a.m. and I still can't believe she didn't take a nap all day! She did come straight home from swim lessons and went right to bed and must have fallen asleep immediately as we didn't hear her normal "night talk". Kaitlyn was also up by 6 and went straight to bed as well. Lots of tired girls!!
The girls also get a little raised bed for their very own close to the area the chicken coop will be in. They get to plant flowers in it of their choosing. They are already discussing what colors they want in it! Spring better get here soon!
