More snow...and some Robert Frost poetry

When this started on Thursday we were told about 1 to 5 inches would be possible...

Yep, They LIED! Yesterday afternoon we had 6 inches, then  today....
Almost 12 inches! And then of course we got some great ice to go on top! We are pretty much hunkered down for the time being and don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon.  Things are starting to warm up soon though so maybe it'll be gone before to long. The girls really enjoyed in Friday, but today they've been asking how long until spring so it'll be warm and NO SNOW. Kaitlyn and I went out and she took some pictures. She found some interesting tree's that she had to take pictures of...

This evening after dinner and music practice they decided that "school work" by candle light was the thing to do.
So they did some copy work and then listened to me read a poem about snow...
Robert Frosts "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" We found a little video on you tube as well with a gentleman reading it that the girls really enjoyed..

Tomorrow we are supposed to have more of the same weather wise (but at least a little bit warmer than it has been). The girls have a few things they are wanting to do tomorrow with poems and poetry, but it's getting late tonight so it was off to bed...where they are singing themselves to sleep.
